The PA Climate Convergence organizers have rented the cabin for June 10 - 13 and will handle booking the individual rooms and beds, so we're keeing it simple. Tell us how many nights you want regardless of which nights they are.

4-person room (2 single beds, 1 bunk bed), First Floor, $120 per night  (1 available)

4-person room (2 single beds, 1 bunk bed), Second Floor, $120 per night (2 available)

Bunk bed (lower bunk), 12 beds each in 2 rooms, Second Floor, $30 per night (23 available)

Details and Amenities

True Life Youth Cabin is adjacent to the Appalachian Trail & near the Swatara State Park/Creek on 35 wooded acres. It is 27.9 miles9 miles, (approximately 32 minutes)  from Harrisburg  via I-81 S.

 

The cabin has 5 bedrooms - 3 rooms sleep 4 with 2 single beds and a bunk bed, 2 large rooms have 12 bunk beds. However, using an abundance of caution with respect to COVID to allow distancing, we will limit the three smaller rooms to three to four people traveling together, and the two larger rooms will be limited to sleep 12 people.

 

The cabin has 3 shared bathrooms, one of which is handicapped accessible. You will need to supply your own pillows, towels, sheets, and soap. Electricity is powered by solar and generator. Parking included.

 

No smoking or pets allowed the premises.

 

You can prepare food in the kitchen equipped with cooking utensils, a coffee machine, stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and a child's high chair. A dining room is available. Cleaning up after yourself is required.

 

The cabin has indoor and outdoor areas for socializing: 2 living rooms, a backyard and a playground. There is no air conditioning (you’re in the middle of the woods!) but there are ceiling fans. There is no WIFI.
